FIRING LANYARD
A length of textile webbing, fiber rope, or the like, cut to a definite length, having a hook on one end to be attached to the firing mechanism and usually an adjustable keeper on the end designed to be worn on the arm. It is used to fire the weapon without requiring a crewman's hands to be on the firing mechanism. Excludes GRIP ASSEMBLY, CONTROLLER, WEAPON.
